Has anyone else been on high dose of prozac and found that they are so tired, like all the time? Actually its not even tired, its beyond that!I never felt like this on lower doses, and i thought it was supposed to make you feel more energised, not less! Just wondered if it could be my meds, or if im just really tired! cos couldnt work outwhy im so suddenly utterly drained!
Not whinging!just any ideas would be cool :)

I don't know about prozac, but I am on Lexapro (although not a very high dose) and I have been really, really drained lately. Like you said, beyond tired. Which makes me wonder if it could be the meds for me too. I know tiredness is a side effect of SSRIs so it's very possible. Do you have a good doctor that you could talk to about it?
I've been on the highest dosage of prozac for several months and while I always feel tired during the day, I can't for the life of me get a good night's rest. I think it's a nutrition thing. Prozac and insomnia tend to go hand in hand. And night sweats. Ugh! I hate them. I think I'm going to change meds because of that.

I was on prozac for a while and felt absolutely nothing...good or bad. On seroquel though, I feel like I could sleep 24/7, and am absolutely drained during the day. Meds affect everyone differently, but if you recently switched doses and the tiredness just started I'd be a little suspect that that's the cause. Sometimes though, side effects like that will even out in a couple weeks when your body gets adjusted to them. I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons.
